8th Panzer Regiment News – June, 2017 C92夏コミ当選ご報告、その他

I have been busy. I am very sorry about not updating as much as I should have. I have posted some information on Twitter, but that only lasts for moments at a time, so I really should post more information on the blog as well.

First of all, my doujinshi circle’s application to Comic Market 92 was approved. My booth will be at L-21a on the third day (Sunday) of Comiket. Unlike conventions outside of Japan, doujinshi publishers only have one day to display and sell their wares at most doujinshi exhibition marketplaces.

Wonderful artwork by the talented Mr.Minazuki Juzo featuring Kümmel and Newton used as the circle cut (spot illustration used as self-introduction in the Comic Market Catalog.)

I hope to have a new book ready for summer Comiket, so please stay tuned.

I actually published a new book for Comic 1 held on April 30th. Desert Flowers is my first Lionheart Witch series book that only includes English.

実は4月30日に開催されたコミック1で新刊『Desert Flowers』を発行していました。当サークル初めての英語のみの同人誌です。

This was an experimental book aimed at testing the waters for publishing a book exclusively for an overseas market. The book was made available at Doujin Market – Doujima held in Singapore and DoKomi held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The print run was not very large so unless there is a second printing, it may be hard to buy this book. Please let me know if you are interested in projects such as these. I am plan on selling what remaining copies I have at doujinshi marketplaces in Japan.

That is all for the moment. I hope to have more material ready for you in the near future. Please let me know what you think.

You know it would be very helpful if you can sell it online since it would be hard to pick up an English doujinshi in Singapore, Germany or Japan, honesty I would be happy to send money directly to you through paypal and you can ship it to my address.
Still you could sell it at SMASH! 2017 convention in Sydney, Australia.
I would happily support any projects like this especially if its Strike Witches, Touhou Project or Kantai Collection or anything.
Anyway have you consider using Kickstarter to help pay for your translation and shipping cost, that way it get pick up and word spread?
Still cheers for the book and did it sell well in those places?

Unfortunately, I won’t be attending Comiket this year. I was able to pick up some of your works from a toranoana when I was visiting Japan (Witches of Africa/the Sphinx), thankfully. I am always interested in your work and translation work. If they’re available in a venue to purchase for the US, I will gladly purchase them.

If it is easier, let us know which comic store retailer you would have to resell your extra copies, so those of us can pick it up if online sales were possible from the retailer.

While I may not be able to respond to all comments, I always welcome feedback. Thank you.
